Information Technology (Medicare Reporting)
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the performance of systems analysis, application programming,
and user training connected with the development and maintenance of automated
data processing function. Work closely with Medicare SMEs in a QMACS/ QNXT
platform. Adhere to SOX guidelines for process standards, documentation and
version control. Identify and resolve programmatic issues. Collaborate with
management and end-users to schedule and implement systems testing and
maintenance.
Prioritize work assignments, ensure on-time completion of tasks and projects
and provide timely updates to project group leader, managers and directors.
Foster open communications and ensure effective and positive working
relationships with coworkers, users and vendors.
Develop lifecycle system projects from design through coding, testing,
implementation, documentation and end-user training. Assist users and IT team
in testing and debugging programs, reports, and/ or queries as needed.
Perform application/ report maintenance, troubleshooting and debugging of
software, providing support across multiple locations and platforms.
Able to demonstrate dedication to the assigned tasks/ projects. Ensure
continuous quality improvement and maintain timeline to meet accreditation and
regulatory guidelines.
B.S. degree in Computer Science or related area. Advanced degree preferred.

7 or more years experience designing, developing and/ or implementing
applications using one or more of the following: SQL, VB.NET, Crystal Reports,
Visual Basic 5.0 / 6.0 and Windows 95 / 98/ NT. Major Accomplishments during
this evaluation period
Required: VB .NET and .NET ASP, SQL 2000, SQL 2005, SSIS, DTS
Desire: SharePoint, BizTalk 2006
SPECIAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Programming skills in MS. SQL and Visual Basic, ad-hoc reporting in Crystal
Reports.
Extensive knowledge of healthcare industry.
Effective presentation skills, excellent oral & written communication
skills.
Demonstrated ability to team with internal and external customers to meet
delivery and budgetary deadlines.
QNXT or QMACS knowledge preferred. |
